Heading into 2006, MacCase Chief Creative Officer, Michael Santoro wanted to re-invent the very market he had created almost a decade before. "I wanted a product to juxtapose the cool, clinical feel of the computers. Something warm, sensual and handcrafted. As a material, leather was the answer." Inspiration was gleaned from many sources, including Santoro's time designing automobile and aircraft interiors.
