*The iPhone 6+ with an Otterbox Defender case is just over 3.5" and will not fit. The iPhone 6+ Otterbox Commuter and Symmetry Series cases are just under 3.5" will fit in the smartMount. See the video below to see how it fits.

Note: We noticed that the retail packaging has a misprint. It says that this works with devices up to 2.75" wide but in reality it works with devices up to 3.5" wide. If you purchased a smartMount and you're worried that the packaging says (up to 2.75"), please know that this is a mistake on our printing. The smartMount will indeed expand to 3.5" so don't worry about the retail packaging glitch. - Thank you!

   How do I know if this will work with my specific phone or case? You can google your device name and see what the specs are. They are usually published in mm so as long as the width is 90mm (3.5") or less, it will work with this mount.


2. 
   Can I use this Mount to attach my phone to other photography equipment, besides a tripod? Yes, this smartMount uses the standard 1/4" tripod thread so you can use it to mount your smartphone to virtually anything that uses that standard tripod thread. The smartMount has a tripod thread on the back and on the bottom for maximum versatility.
